A three week introductory series taught by Traci Childress: In this series of one hour classes, you will be introduced to basic standing postures and gain an understanding of your own posture. The focus will be on learning to stand, bend and stretch with awareness from the ground up. You will lay the groundwork for understanding how to practice basic yoga poses safely and in a way that honors your own body. This series will empower you to enter yoga classes with confidence and/or support your general awareness of your posture. The series has limited enrollment and attendance at all three sessions is required. Attention to each person’s posture and poses is given.
Saturdays, October 5th, 12th, and 19th 10-11am. Cost for series $60.
