Julia Taylor (she/her) (craniosacral therapy, somatic bodywork, teaching)

Julia is a queer, white, cis bodyworker, mother, founder of Threshold Wellness, and teacher.  State licensed in massage for thirteen years, she draws from craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, myofascial release, swedish, and deep tissue massage.  During the last seven years, she’s studied somatics with Sage Hayes, Hannah Harris-Sutro, and is in her third year in the Somatic Experiencing program.

Julia intends to create a safe container for folks wanting to engage with the instinctual wilderness of the body. Through one-on-one bodywork sessions and group classes, she’ll support your ability to find release and stability, build on existing resources, and help name new ones as they arise. She brings a 20 year study of anatomy, ability to interact with multiple systems in your body at once, and a genuine desire to connect to all of her work. Julia has a PA massage license since 2008, founded Threshold Wellness in 2013, and got a bachelor of fine arts back in 2003. Julia has taught anatomy and physiology, self-massage, couples’ massage, and mindfulness to adults.  She’s taught all kinds of other things as a preschool teacher.  She brings a consent-based and playful teaching style along with endless wonder at all that bodies can do.
