Mindfulness Practices for Children, and Caregivers, Too!

Screen Shot 2013-09-30 at 9.36.09 PMMindfulness, simply defined, is returning to the moment. It is a practice that uses simple tools to help you notice your breath, your body, your sensations, what is happening around you, and what others are experiencing. As you develop practices of noticing, you become more able to return to the moment, and connect to yourself and others more deeply.

You can teach the children in your life how to be mindful with a few easy and fun mindfulness principles and concrete practices. If you’re new to mindfulness, you can learn right along with them. In this workshop, you will learn five mindfulness principles. We will practice together, discuss the experience with the practices and how to use them in day to day life with children, and have time for questions and answers.

November 3rd 10-11:30am  $35 per person. Caregivers/partners who come together: $50.

In order for caregivers to be able to fully participate, this workshop is for adults only. Participants should bring paper and pen. A list of resources will be provided.
