Couples’ Massage Workshop Series
May 17th, 24th, 31st, and June 7th
Sundays from 8pm-9pm
Establish a weekly massage schedule with the person you’re sequestered with so you can be close in enjoyable and therapeutic ways, not just stuck in a house together. In this series, we’ll focus in on different areas of the body, leaving time for you to ask questions, and weaving in plenty of professional massage techniques. Feel free to drop in for one, or make it a weekly ritual.
Week 1: Back and shoulders
Week 2: Head, neck, jaw and face
Week 3: Hands, arms, chest
Week 4: Hips, legs, and feet
These workshops take place on Zoom. Once you register, I’ll send you a link to join the video call on Sundays.
Cost: Sliding scale $40-$100 per couple
Self-Massage and Movement
Mondays May 11th, 18th, 25th, and June 1st
Combat the increase in seated screen time and decrease in contact with others by connecting deeply with your own body. Through these virtual workshops you’ll develop strategies to get grounded, increase circulation, and release tension. I’ll share massage techniques and stretches to address particular areas of concern. With time for your questions, you’ll leave each workshop with a plan to find nervous system regulation and relief from pain anytime. All bodies are welcome and variations will be offered based on differences in mobility and ability. Drop in for one, or make it a weekly ritual.

Week 4: Feet, legs, and knees

*As indicated in the photo above, a 4 inch inflatable ball is required for this class. Here is a link to purchase a pack of six. A smaller, firmer ball is also recommended, something like a tennis ball or a rubber ball of that size. These are an additional cost, but are incredibly helpful tools for self-massage that will last a very long time. If this is a barrier for you in any way, please let us know!
